Michael Todd Cleanse and Tone Facial Cleanser + Jojoba Charcoal Scrub Review

The older I get the less beauty products I own. When I was younger I would buy a lot of products hoping that I will eventually find the ones that will make miracles on my face.
In the end I realised that buying too many products can’t guarantee that you will find what you’re looking for.

Toners usually miss from my daily skin routine as I don’t like the feeling they leave on my skin. So, using a 2 in 1 product was a good way to apply toner but skip the awkward feeling. Actually the Michael Todd Cleanse and Tone Facial Cleanser is a 3 in 1 product as it combines a cleanser, toner and make up remover as well.

I usually enjoy using exfoliant cleansers as they give me the sense of deep cleansing, but in this case it is a soft creamy material in dark shade. I suppose this colour is because of the charcoal ingredient that it contains.

I like the fact that I don’t feel my face dry or tight and I cant’t sense the toner in it. I have combination skin type and my skin is also sensitive, but I haven’t felt any discomfort this month that I have been using it.

I guess the natural ingredients like organic teas and essential oils provide a soothing effect.

Together with the cleanser, which I use twice a day, I have been trying Michael Todd Jojoba Charcoal Scrub which I use every second day. It’s the first time in my life that I have been using a scrub so frequently without worrying that I’ll injure my skin.
In general I love using scrubs, but sometimes they cause me some irritation.

First I was surprised with the dark hue of this scrub and then with the fact that despite the softness of the beads, I can see it really works on my skin.

From the first time I used these two products I felt my skin smooth and clear. I hadn’t used any Michael Todd products before, but the quality of this cleanser and scrub made me want to try more from this brand.

The scrub cleans the pores, it doesnt’t cause any redness and it doesn’t dry my skin out like other products I have used in the past.

As my skin tends to be sensitive, I rarely find face products that I feel comfortable with.

Have you tried any Michael Todd products too?
I had read positive reviews before and I’m glad I had a good experience with them too.
