5+3 Unforgettable Outfits

When I’m watching a TV series or see a film sometimes I wonder if it is really worth it all the time and money spent on a quick scene that I don’t think many people will notice or remember later.
For instance, there are times that a character has a flash back and we can see a scene with many extras and special costumes, which lasts only for a few seconds.

Apparently, small details are the ones that make us remember a film even many years after we have first watched it.
Hasn’t it ever happened to you to hear about a movie and the first thing that comes to your mind is what the stars were wearing?

Here are the outfits that are more memorable to me. Maybe for people older or younger than me there are other remarkable appearances, but I think if you are of the same age like me you may agree with my choices.

1. Julia Roberts in ‘Pretty Woman’

I know you probably remember the gorgeous red evening gown that Julia Roberts wore in the famous movie.

Nevertheless, I also remember the sexy outfit with the boots the actress wore in the same film.

2. Tom Cruise in ‘Top Gun’ and ‘Risky Business’

I’m not a big fan of Tom Cruise and I’m not sure I have even seen this movie, but I can’t deny that his aviator style made this type of sunglasses very popular.

Another unforgettable moment is when Tom Cruise is dancing while wearing only a shirt and socks in ‘Risky Business’. Even if you haven’t seen the film, you might remember Niles, Mr. Sheffield’s butler  from ‘The Nanny’, pretending to be Tom Cruise.

3. Bette Midler and Lily Tomlin in ‘Big Business’

The next outfit is an outsider as it may not be one of the dresses you remember, but I used to love this movie as a child and I could never forget the polka dot clothes that the twins wore.
Oh man, I love the 80’s!

4. Sarah Jessica Parker in ‘Sex and the City’

Carrie from ‘Sex and the city’ has given us numerous special appearances that we’ll always remember, but who can forget the fancy dress that the star wore on the last episode of our beloved tv series!

5. Uma Thurman in ‘Pulp Fiction’ and ‘Kill Bill’

Her haircut and dancing skills are what was noticeable in the movie where she starred next to John Travolta, but I can also recall Uma Thurman dancing barefoot wearing a long white shirt.

A different kind of outfit I loved of the same actress was the yellow outfit that reminded of Bruce Lee’s similar overalls.
I enjoyed the film and loved this outfit!

What are your favourite movie or tv outfits that first come to your mind?
