The delicious orange vegetable is known for helping us maintain our eye vision clear, but that is not all carrots are good for. Additionally, teeth, skin, and the digestive system benefit the most from this vegetable. Carrots contain the high amount of beta-carotene in addition to vitamin A, minerals and antioxidants.

It is a healthy, natural and inexpensive beauty ingredient, and you can use it through an entire year.

The risk of cancers like colon cancer, breast cancer and lung cancer is lowered by carrot intake as well. Finally, they help in healing sunburns and protect sun damages.
Beauty Benefits
Considering carrots contain carotene, they will help your skin look healthy and glowing. Carotenoids, which can be found in carrots help in protecting and conditioning the skin. For those of you who wish to maintain a vibrant and healthy skin, I recommend eating carrots on a daily basis. Furthermore, a face mask made of grated carrots or a carrot juice will be a great treatment for the skin and give it a gorgeous glow in no time. Moreover, try to make a quick mask by mixing grated carrots with honey. Apply it on the face for 15 minutes, and wash it off.
If you have problems with scars and skin blemishes, try drinking carrot juice regularly. Moreover, you could apply carrot pulp directly on the scar or blemished skin. Do this, and the skin irregularities will be removed.
Acne, pimples, rashes, and dermatitis alongside wide range of other skin ailments are also possible to prevent and treat with the intake of carrots. Moreover, they can be applied directly on inflammation, wounds, and cuts in order to quickly heal them.
Hair can also be more beautiful thanks to carrots. They offer essential vitamins to the hair which make it thicker, stronger, longer and shinier. Hair loss treatment can also be prevented by the use of carrots. For healthier hair, drink more carrot juice regularly.
Slow down aging
Not only do carrots contain carotenoids, but also other powerful anti-oxidants that help in slowing down the aging process. Carrots are rich in vitamin C, which is helpful in aiding collagen production in the body. This protein is required to maintain the elasticity of the skin. Therefore, if you use carrots regularly it will result in less wrinkles, and stalling the process of aging. Furthermore, vitamin A being an antioxidant prevents signs of aging like uneven skin tone, and pigmentation. It is highly recommended to eat carrots in order to prevent any eye diseases such as age related macular degeneration.

What Can You Eat Carrots With
Most of people like to eat carrots raw, but there are some other ways you can eat, and include them into your diet. Try mixing them up in your salads. If you eat carrot sticks with almond butter it can be a great treat. Furthermore, roasted carrots are perfect to include in your dinner. Considering they have no sugar, carrots are perfect for any meal, and you do not have to worry about gaining weight. Finally, if you steam carrots and eat them with salmon, you are going to enjoy a delicious meal.

Having all these benefits in mind, we can say a carrot is a true friend of our health. If you have not eaten it on a daily basis so far, I would say it is a high time you started. Better safe, than sorry.
