My Tips On How To Organise The Perfect Wedding

After he proposes, the fun begins. I am of course talking about your wedding, or more specifically, planning your wedding. I’ve attended a few lately but don’t worry, I haven’t become Katherine Heigl’s character in 27 Dresses. I’ve just been noticing all the little details and how they come together. By doing that, I’ve come up with the perfect way of planning a wedding.
Using it, I think any readers who are getting married will be able to relax a little more.

Step 1: Find The Place

I know my friend found her wedding venue two years in advance of actually getting married. It was one year before her partner proposed. In the last year, she was kind of nudging him until he plucked up the courage to ask her. Booking a venue two years ahead seemed a little over organised to me, but then I discovered just how quickly they book up. There is a popular venue for weddings near where I live. A friend spoke to the owner, and they’ve been making some changes, including adding the possibility of having a reception on the roof of the building. They think this service is going to make their venue so popular that people are going to have to book years in advance! So my advice here is once you find the venue you love, book it, even if he hasn’t proposed yet!

Step 2: Sending Out The Invites

You will have to wait for him to propose for this one. Otherwise, it can be a little awkward when people turn up on your chosen date, and there’s no groom. I know a few brides who have cut the price on the wedding by hand making the invites rather than getting them professionally designed. But, if you want to impress people, you will shell out a little more money. Particularly if you want beautiful contemporary wedding invitations. Send out the wedding invites a few months before so that you have time to adjust for any last minute changes.

Step 3: Choose The Dress

I’ve seen great wedding dresses, and I’ve seen awful wedding dresses, and the difference isn’t the dress at all. It’s the person wearing it. If you want to look your best on your wedding day, you should find a dress that suits your personality. I’m sorry, but you should because makeup will only go so far and this is your chance to look like a princess. You may also want to try to fit into a smaller size. I’m not suggesting you go on the liquid diet they put Lily James on to look like Cinderella. Just cut out the sweets, the junk and start hitting the gym. Encourage your boyfriend to do the same because it is easier when you have a diet friend.

Step 4: Get A Stylist

The last thing you need to think about for your wedding is getting a stylist. Like I said, you want to look like a princess, and that can happen with the help of a professional stylist. They can help you achieve the exact look you want and make sure you look your best on one of the most important days of your life. Of course a talented friend can help you with the styling instead.

After that, you will need to think about the photographer, the transport and the reception. But, these are little details that will fall into place. Then, the countdown will begin and before you know it, you will be ready to say, I do.
