The Perfect Day: How to Make Your Wedding Truly Memorable

When you want to have a wedding that is memorable, it is essential to plan carefully to have the perfect day. While you might have a professional wedding planner, there are several things that you must consider for your wedding day. Here are some tips for having a fantastic wedding that everyone will remember.

Choose the Perfect Wedding Gown

Take time to find the perfect wedding gown for your special day. Visit several bridal stores to find the dress that makes you feel wonderful. After choosing a wedding dress, have it tailored to fit perfectly, and make sure to buy the right accessories, including shoes and a veil.

Decorate the Wedding Venue

Make sure to decorate the wedding venue to have a gorgeous backdrop for your photographs. The traditional decorations for a wedding will include fresh flowers and satin ribbons that are displayed on a church’s pews or ceilings. If you want to remember your wedding forever, then hire a professional photographer who can create a video of your wedding in addition to taking photographs of you and the wedding party.

Have a Unique Ceremony

Instead of having the same type of wedding ceremony, you can make changes such as having multiple family members give away the bride to the groom or running down the aisle after the ceremony ends. You may want to have a candle lighting ceremony, or you can show a video of you and your groom when you were children. You can play your favorite type of music at your wedding by using CDs, or you can hire a live band with a singer who will sing a song that means something special to you and the groom.

Give your wedding guests containers of confetti so that they can toss it at the bride after the ceremony ends. Confetti is more colorful than rice, and it doesn’t hurt the bride while she is walking from the wedding venue.

Rent Enough Tables and Chairs for the Reception

Don’t make your guests take turns sitting down to eat a meal at the reception. Rent beautiful chairs and tables in a variety of colors and styles to have an attractive wedding reception venue. Work with a company like Party People Rentals & Sales or someone similar to ensure that your needs are met. You will want to have delicious food at your wedding reception, so make sure to take time hiring the right caterer. Visit several caterers to test samples of food to have the best meals for your wedding guests. You will also want a special wedding cake, but you don’t need to have a traditional vanilla flavor.

One thing to remember is to begin the wedding reception process as early as possible. There is a lot of competition for the best photographers and caterers, so getting a head start will help you get the best options around. Most brides start their wedding planning at least one year in advance of their wedding day. Take your time

  2. Mine was unforgettable – I don’t know whether I wanted to wear a white gown, but I had one with flowers, of course (so me) tailored especially for me. But last minute thoughts made me avoid it and I went to the ceremony in jeans – till today I don’t know whether I regret it, so I may dress in white one day 🙂 The talk of the town, so unconventional – I don’t recommend this to other people, so I loved your post, talking about lovely gowns and ceremony! Hope you have a very beautiful week!
