5 Comfortable Fashion Items That Aren’t Pajamas

More people are working from home than ever before. You also have homemakers and online students that spend most of their productive time indoors.

This usually means that there is little need to get dressed up. It can be a very tempting choice to stay all day in your pajamas. However, you can look presentable when going outside and in online meetings without sacrificing comfort.

 Maxi Dresses

One of the best things about wearing a maxi dress is that you throw it on and you’re ready to go. You look presentable for any impromptu guests or meetings. You can easily dress it up with earrings or jewelry or you can have a casual look with a jean jacket. Nobody can tell that you are secretly wearing work appropriate pajamas.

Comfortable Shirts

One of the most underrated items of clothing are comfortable tops. From a stretchy blouse to an ultra soft flowy tee. Just because you’re not dressed up doesn’t mean that you don’t care about your appearance. Shirts are great because they don’t require ironing. You can achieve a casual look without any effort.

Pants with Stretch

A good pair of pants can make the difference between feeling restricted or relaxed. Make sure that you look at the materials whether you choose a pair of chinos or jeans. You want to have a little bit of stretch material that will move with your body. When trying on pants make sure to squat. This can be a comfort test to see how easily the pants are able to bend. If you feel restricted then these are not the bottoms that we are looking for. Jeggings are a great alternative to pajamas, and you can wear them with most of your favorite shirts.

Lightweight Hoodies

When it comes to a t-shirt hoodie you want to make sure that it stretches. This is similar to the way that you look at the label when you get pants. Your best bet is going to be finding a jersey hoodie that has stretch. This is a casual staple that will feel like being hugged by a cloud while looking great.

Linen

When it comes to dressy casual linen is a hero fabric. There is no hiding that it’s often associated with summer and beachy paradise resorts. That’s because the fabric is so lightweight that it feels like you barely have something on. A linen dress, shirt, or pants are a great look for summer without feeling like you will melt yourself into a puddle.

Whatever you choose to wear this summer you should remember to stay comfortable. There are so many options of clothing to make you look presentable while allowing you to lounge around. Whatever you choose, remember to add your own personal touch.
