Elvis Presley
You cannot choose a more classic costume than the one inspired by the King of rock ’n’ roll. Appropriate for both men and women, these costumes are hugely popular so much so there is always at least one Elvis Presley at a costume party. Think about an outlandish suit, flashy jewellery and pompadour haircut and you have an Elvis Presley costume. For example, the Burning Love jumpsuit is ideal as all the eyes will be on you wearing a white jumpsuit with large golden studs and a wide golden belt. One of the most famous Elvis costumes is definitely a gold lamé suit consisting of a jacket, slacks, a belt, shoes and a string necktie.
Madonna
The fans of Madonna will be delighted to choose any costume inspired by this music diva as she had so many fashion transformations throughout her career. You can choose some of her outfits from the 80’s such as the one from 1984 including a graphic printed black/yellow mini skirt, spandex leggings, a crop top, a patent heels, an endless number of rubber bracelets and her signature red hair ribbon. The fabulous short wedding dress she wore for her performance of Like a virgin will definitely transport you to 1984.

If you are in festive spirit, you should wear an outlandish blue playsuit, a bright yellow wig, matching blue gloves, black sky-high platform boots and a legendary decorated pine tree as a hat. The lovers of red and lace should not miss a Lady Gaga costume including a fabulous red mini dress, a matching extravagant head piece, and pair of matching red high heels.
Freddy Mercury
Stretch low-cut jumpsuits, faux leather, white tank tops and the moustache. In one word: Freddy! For the most outrageous costume, pick out a white low-cut jumpsuit, or his housewife inspired purple top and a leather mini skirt outfit. His signature look was the combination of white pants and yellow jacket. For this look you will need a yellow jacket, white track pants with red stripe down the sides, a white tank top and aviator sunglasses. His famous quote is “I have fun with my clothes onstage; it’s not a concert you’re seeing, it’s a fashion show.” So, we hope you will have fun with your costume as much as Freddy did.
Marilyn Monroe
Costumes inspired by Marilyn Monroe are all-time classics and whenever you choose outfits this great film star wore you will not make a mistake.
