A couple of years ago I bought this perfume and I thought it was a forced movement I would regret but I’m glad I was wrong. It’s Si by Armani, a perfume that I might not have liked when I was younger, but it is to my liking now.
Actually, my husband bought me Lancome’s ‘La vie est belle’, but as someone else in the family used to wear the same perfume at the time, I took it back to the store and returned home with ‘Si’ eau de parfum. I prefer not to wear the same perfume I can smell on others.
I dare to call it a seductive, luxurious perfume and it is very feminine. I tend to choose powdery and vanilla scents, but in more subtle tones.
When you first spray it is intense. When it has dried down you can smell a rich sweet scent of vanilla.
I can’t describe it as a romantic scent because it radiates dynamism.
This elegant fragrance combines blackcurrant nectar, modern chypre, and blond wood musk with touches of freesia and May rose scent.
It is a little heavy for the morning and due to its high price I don’t wear it very often. It’s my special events perfume!
This fragrance is warm and for me is more suitable for winter.
It isn’t a perfume for younger ages either (unless you like it of course!), but for an older girl like myself, why not? Allow me to tell you a short story about an incident that happened to me a few years ago. I went to a shop and wanted to try a certain perfume and the shop assistant, who was a young girl, told me that perfume was for younger ages. For me the aroma you choose has more to do with your taste than your age.
It lasts all day long. Its redolence is still present even after a shower. If it is sprayed on my clothes, it lasts for days, I can smell it on my jacket’s sleeve.
The only negative thing about this product is the price. This is the only reason I don’t wear it as often as I would like.
If I would buy it again?
Definitely. It’s among my favourite perfumes. I’m writing this smelling my wrist and holding the half empty bottle of mine. I want to keep wearing it.
Have you tried it? How do you like it?
