4 Simple Steps For Longer, Luscious Locks

Clothing, accessories, and body modifications are a few of the ways that you can reinvent yourself. However, there is no denying the vital role that hair plays in helping create your signature look. While some opt for shorter styles, a chop is not for everyone. Maintaining the mane can be a painstaking struggle for those that suffer from limp locks. However, these useful tips and a selection of great products can help maximize your length and volume. You can find insightful information on excellent and affordable products to get you started here.

With these simple steps in your bag of tricks, you are bound to have more length and volume in no time.

1. Get Down To The Roots

Start by diving headfirst into the root of the problem. Healthy roots will heal your hair and give you that bodacious bounce. A deep cleansing product or antioxidant-rich supplement will invigorate your hair. Finding the right product means knowing what to look out for in each of them. Key ingredients will promote growth, strengthen hair and maximize volume. We have outlined the essentials below:

Retinol, commonly known as Vitamin A, is a powerful antioxidant used in many skincare products due to its beneficial healing properties. Retinol impacts the immune system, helping increase blood flow and encouraging the formation of new blood vessels, which in turn regulates the growth of hair follicles.

Biotin, commonly known as Vitamin B7, is an essential antioxidant often referred to as “the hair growth vitamin” because of its powerful growth-promoting properties. Keratin in the hair follicle reacts with Biotin to produce amino acids. The production of these amino acids fuels hair growth.

Vitamin E

Vitamin E is common in products that contain aloe vera and has powerful moisturizing properties. Vitamin E helps repair and rebuild skin tissue; reducing inflammation, increasing blood circulation and stimulating hair growth.

2. Sort Out Your Shower Situation

Relying on supplementation for essential antioxidants that promote hair growth is not a foolproof way to develop the look you are after. The right shampoo and conditioner will make the world of difference but splurging out on the fanciest products does not guarantee great volume. You are going to need to look after your hair. That means sustaining a cleaning routine that is up to scratch. Washing the right way is often overlooked as let’s be honest; most of us know better. However, the best stylists in the business have great advice on hair care. Taking care of your hair is the foundation of a banging look.

3. Have Some Fun

We can’t encourage playing with your hair enough. Use styling creams with thickening molecules to bring back the bounce. If creams are out of your budget then changing your part, back-brushing or blow-drying upside down are a few quick tips to fake a fuller look. Using a quality hairdryer is a golden rule. If you have to, sacrifice on products for a top hairdryer. The extreme heats from cheaper dryers can make your hair brittle and prone to breakage. Curlers are another handy tool to have in your arsenal that will allow you to create fuller styles.

4. What You Put In Is What You Get Out

Maintaining a healthy diet and lifestyle is essential to your hair growth. Eating the right food provides your body with crucial vitamins that can heal your hair. Stay away from calories and sugar. Eating antioxidant-rich foods will help your body fight free radicals that damage cells and thin hair. Add more fatty foods to your diet. Foods that contain the right kinds of fat, such as avocado, fish and flax seeds, are essential to your overall health. These fats promote the health of cell membranes which help prevent the breakdown of hair.

With a little time and money, you can easily create your signature look. Start flaunting a bouncier body of hair with these simple steps to longer, luscious locks.

  2. I ´d like add, as far as choosing the right shampoo and conditioner, that ¨right¨ doesn´t mean the most expensive or famous product, but the one that clicks with you and your hair. I learned that the hard way when I bought an expensive shampoo a famous youtuber suggested and it made my hair a mess, super dry and with a look like I hadn´t comb my hair for days!
