Whoever cares about their skin hopes to have a healthy, elastic and glowing face to show off. However, multiple factors tend to mess up with our looks and health and sometimes they crawl into our lives in such a sneaky way that it’s not after we get those nasty zits that we notice them.
If you feel like you’ve been doing everything right, treating your skin the way it deserves yet the havocs on your skin somehow always find a way in, here are some contributing factors that may as well be the reason of your skin breaking out.
The food you eat
With the 10 hour work day it gets pretty hard watching what we eat. Fast food is just around the corner and when hunger hits there isn’t much you can do… or is there? Anyhow, you need to know that greasy fast food is one of the major contributors to your face looking and feeling like you haven’t been diligent with taking proper care of it. The greasier the food, the more blemishes you’ll get.
Make sure you cut down on fast food and replace it with healthy snacks and meals. Not only will your face get its initial glow but your body will look amazing, too! This also goes for sweets, soda drinks, chips and other unhealthy snacks.
Not removing makeup
It seems like everyone is trying to look their most glamorous these days, and – wherever they go. And, while there is nothing wrong with looking gorgeous, if you want to pile up on that makeup, make sure it’s a high quality one and that you remove it regularly.
It’s no surprise to hear that, after spending hours and hours on getting their makeup just right, girls can’t be bothered to take it off and then put it on again the next day. So, they just go to sleep with their face on and do a touch up the next day. Ladies, this routine will destroy your face and there won’t be much of that stunning beauty to show any more! If you love makeup, be diligent with treating your face right when putting it on and taking it off. Do you really want your face scaring and looking like an old rug? Of course not.
Exposure to much sunlight
We all love a good tan! There’s probably nothing as effective as having a tan to hide cellulite, pimples, and make your skin look exotic. However, too much exposure to the sun may severely damage the surface of your skin and cause rapid again and wrinkles. These changes on your skin may be caused by too much exposure to artificial sunrays of tan-beds or when you go out in the sun without having previously put a sunscreen on. So, if you are looking to be all tan without damaging your skin, don’t forget to use a sunscreen of at least 20, 30 SPF protective factor.
Your period
Women seem to have just 10 days off in a month when their organism isn’t affecting by a particular hormonal change. First, there’s body’s preparing for the PMS; then – there’s PMS; then, finally – there’s menstruation. After this triple evil is done, we’ve got 10 days to cool down.
During our period, the skin produces more oil, our pores are getting larger, skin dehydration skyrockets and we are more sun sensitive. This is why we should be using proper Osmosis skincare products to avoid our skin damage as much as possible.
The mystery is finally solved and we hope you’ve learned something reading our little tutorial. Good luck with your skin treatments and remember – not caring for your skin now may have long-lasting consequences later!
