There are a number of products on the market that claim to get rid of pimples the safe way. But these products count low on skin care that can leave your face spotty and dry in the long run. There are much better and safer natural ways to get rid of pimples.
Most of it comes down to lifestyle changes that are very easy to inculcate in one’s daily life;
-
One must get a good night’s sleep. Place a clean towel on your pillow each night, or just turn it over and make it last 2 nights, thus, keeping the oil off your pillow and having a clean surface to put your face onto each night. Also, practice some deep breathing and relaxation time before going to bed.
-
You should try to eat a balanced diet that is low in fats, especially saturated fats and fried foods. Increase the vegetables and raw fruits. Also, drink the “8 glasses” of water. This is extremely important. For your body to heal or keep any of its components in shape, you must have water available to carry the toxins away. Water also helps hydrate your whole body and especially the face, thus, keeping it in good shape against the germs that are ever ready to invade it.
-
Exercise is also a must. Regular exercise and “breaking a sweat” is the best thing you can do for your body on a daily basis.
-
Then there is hygiene; making sure you are not touching your face with your hands, this can clog the finer pores of the face with oils and dirt from your hands. Plan on washing your face twice a day, in the morning and before going to bed.

All that being said, there are some natural and simple ways to get rid of pimples.
-
A natural mask that is simple to make is 2 tablespoons of raw honey with a tablespoon of organic plain yogurt mixed together – apply this mixture to a clean face. Let this dry on your face. Then, rinse with warm water and pat dry. Honey has natural anti-bacterial properties and will help your face skin fight off the germs.
-
A ground up cucumber and a teaspoon of lemon juice will be a refreshing pore reducer, after washing your face. You can leave this on for 5 minutes and then rinse off with plain water.
-
Tea Tree Oil, diluted with a lot of water: 1 teaspoon to 1 cup of water. Use with mixture with caution – Tea Tree Oil is very strong and although it has amazing anti-bacterial properties, too much of it can irritate your facial skin.
-
Apple Cider vinegar; just dab on with cotton ball and leave on until dry, this acts as an astringent and helps to constrict the facial pores.
-
Witch Hazel can be purchased at most of the drug stores. This applied with a cotton ball after washing the face, will also act as an astringent. This has long been used as a remedy to get rid of pimples.
